█ Completed the establishment of a mass production system with an annual capacity of 1800 tons by converting existing circuit board general purpose facilities at Iksan Plant No. 1 in Jeonbuk.'

LOTTE Energy Materials is the first company in the industry to supply HVLP (Hyper Very Low Profile) grade 4 ultra low light copper foils for next-generation AI accelerators.

LOTTE Energy Materials announced today that it will supply hyper very low profile (HVLP) We have converted our existing circuit board general-purpose line to a dedicated HVLP4 line, which is a high-value product, and are now in full production.

HVLP copper foil is divided into first to third generations according to the efficiency of high-speed signal transmission, and the current AI accelerator model is below third generation. The HVLP4 ultra-low light copper foil supplied by Doosan Electronics BG this time has similar tensile strength (≥35kgf/mm2) and elongation (>3%) compared to 3rd generation, but low roughness (≤0.8μm), making it the only 4th generation product that minimizes signal loss.  In addition, the adhesive strength is very good due to the application of nano-surface treatment technology. 

Starting with the supply of HVLP4-class ultra-low copper foil, Iksan Plant 1 will be reorganized into a mass production system for high value-added products such as networked and semiconductor packaging copper foil and high-end battery foil. Through this, we plan to secure our core competitiveness as an industry differentiator while laying a foundation for future growth.
