█ First participation in exhibition since launch... 'High-End Elecfoil Global No.1' slogan to target European market

█ Exhibition booth consists of High-End Hybrid Zone, Eco & Global Network Zone, LOTTE Brand Zone, and Media Zone

LOTTE Energy Materials (CEO Kim Yeon-seop) announced today that it will participate in Interbattery Europe 2024 (INTERBATTERY EUROPE 2024), which will be held in Munich, Germany from Wednesday, September 19th to Sunday.

The Interbattery Europe event is held simultaneously with The Smarter E Europe and is now in its second year. This is LOTTE Energy Materials' first participation in the exhibition since its launch last year. 

With the slogan 'High-End Elecfoil Global No.1,' LOTTE Energy Materials optimized the movement of visitors to its booth, which consisted of High-End Hybrid, Eco&Global Network, LOTTE Brand, and Media zones. 

Located in the main aisle of the booth, the High-End Hybrid Zone showcases how global battery companies are introducing next-generation battery innovation processes and why high-end copper foil is essential for improving energy density through OLED displays. Visitors can also see product features, competitiveness, and production processes for high-end copper foil that meets ultra thin/high strength/high elongation at the same time as well as physical examples of products unveiled for the first time at the exhibition.

The Eco & Global Network Zone captures the unique technology that enables uninterrupted production of copper through Infinity Mirrors in a continuous three-dimensional effect. The eco-friendly policies being promoted by LOTTE Energy Materials' global production bases in Malaysia and Spain are expressed with green color lighting.

Inside the booth, LOTTE Brand Zone was organized to showcase LOTTE Chemical's battery materials business. Together with LOTTE Chemical and LOTTE Infrastructure Cell, the company will showcase HDPE separator material for lithium-ion batteries, aluminum foil, copper foil, electrolyte organic solvents and battery modules, packs and EV chargers. Through this, LOTTE Chemical Group has also set a goal of achieving KRW 7 trillion in sales by 2030 by building a value chain for secondary battery core materials.

In addition, sulfide-based solid electrolytes, silicon cathode active materials, LFP anode active materials, and copper foil for all-solid-state that are being researched and developed by LOTTE Energy Materials will also be exhibited.

Meanwhile, LOTTE Energy Materials held a roadshow in Europe in the first quarter for new battery companies. In order to proactively respond to customer demand, we conducted marketing for high-end hybrid copper foil and received feedback from customers on the product quality and technological excellence.
